I have a new 44312 on order and will put Ubuntu on it to run it. I have never used the b43 driver, nor have I ever used fwcutter. If it connects, then it’s worth investigating why your permanent installation is not.
Might just need an rfkill, etc I’m sick of fixing this netbook 4132 a friend. I find it great, laptop has become practically silent while running and is working great for the basics.

Also, does the 14e4: I was having some weird issues with connecting and disconnecting and then i upgraded the kernel and everything seems to be working great.

I added the wl and still no wireless. I tried installing the kernel things first installed the headers was all ok and then installed the image at the end gave me an error: Product information Product Dimensions 3 x 3 x 0.
